Hardware Upgrades
Regarding hardware, the department initiated the construction of the new "Materials Science Building" and a comprehensive renovation of the old department building in 2009, which have officially opened. Currently, we possess the most modernized and complete materials teaching and research space in Taiwan, providing a world-class environment for professional learning and experiments.
Software & Academic Excellence
Regarding software, the department will continue to deepen its development as a research-oriented institution. In addition to recruiting outstanding international faculty members, our curriculum planning and academic research topics are closely aligned with global and domestic high-tech industry demands to ensure students can apply what they learn. Concurrently, all faculty members and students will strengthen cooperation and interactions with top-tier international academic and research institutions, aiming to cultivate outstanding leaders who possess a global perspective, humanistic care, and professional expertise in materials science.
