內容摘要:

Two-dimensional (2D) materials have emerged as a transformative platform for advancing electrocatalytic processes due to their high surface area, tunable electronic structure, and abundant active sites. In this talk, we will highlight recent progress in the design and engineering of layered materials to achieve superior performance in key electrochemical reactions. Particular emphasis will be placed on how structural modulation, defect engineering, and heteroatom incorporation translate from atomic-scale layers to marco-scale level performance. Beyond electrocatalysis, we will briefly explore how these strategies open new frontiers for diverse applications such as energy storage. Together, these insights provide a roadmap for harnessing the intrinsic advantages of 2D materials to enable next-generation technologies.
