演講摘要:
Ultrasonic welding (USW) is a low-energy joining technique that utilizes pressure and high-frequency vibration to induce interfacial frictional heating and plastic deformation, thereby achieving metallurgical bonding. While USW has been successfully applied to soft metals such as aluminum and high-thermal-conductivity metals like copper, as well as dissimilar systems such as Fe–Al, its applicability to high-melting-point hard metals remains underexplored. In this study, USW is applied to hard metals, including steels, high-entropy alloys, and commercially pure titanium. Subsequent mechanical testing and interfacial microstructural characterization are conducted to evaluate joint performance. Special attention is given to interfacial phenomena such as plastic flow, dynamic recrystallization, interfacial reaction, and phase transformations, to assess their roles in governing weld strength and developing effective interface strengthening strategies.
