內容摘要:
Optical materials address global challenges by advancing molecular detection and promoting sustainable energy. We focus on two innovations: Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) for sensing and passive daytime radiative cooling (PDRC) for energy efficiency.
SERS uses nanogaps (1-5 nm) between metal structures to enhance Raman scattering, enabling molecular detection. We developed scalable plasmonic nanostructures with Al, Au, and Ag metals. Our paper-based SERS substrate, featuring Au nanopearls on modified cellulose fibers, achieves a 3.9 × 1011 enhancement factor and single-molecule sensitivity, supporting applications in food safety, diagnostics, and drug monitoring. For energy-saving, we pioneered PDRC materials with >95% solar reflectivity and emissivity. Using micro/nanostructure scattering and phonon resonances, these materials provide sub-ambient cooling with >110 W/m² radiative power under sunlight, reducing urban heat and CO2 emissions. These technologies offer transformative solutions in sensing and sustainability.
