This lecture will provide essential training on academic integrity for graduate students and active research participants. We will explore various training pathways, including workshops, speeches, and online modules, and show you how to efficiently submit your training certificates through the NCKU Academic Integrity Credit Portal.
Key topics include the definition of academic integrity and research ethics, as well as addressing misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and the ethical challenges posed by AI. The lecture will also offer insights into common student ethics violations and the corresponding disciplinary actions.
Additionally, we will provide guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in research, including verifying AI-generated content, transparently disclosing the use of generative AI tools, protecting intellectual property rights, and upholding the standards of accuracy and originality in academic work.
